Michael Levey, BSc (Hons), ARCS
Graduating in physics in 1978 from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, University of London, Mike spent 15 years in IT and mathematical computer modelling for major oil and gas exploration companies. 10+ years at management level, Mike successfully introduced new high value products to international markets in Europe, North America and the Middle East, with clients including Chevron Texaco, Schlumberger and Qatar Petroleum. Aware of the environmental impact of the oil industry, Mike became one of the pioneers in the replacement of toxic chemicals in industry in the mid-nineties. After research Mike established a company to produce industrial cleaning, degreasing and decontamination products using natural and natural derived materials, many included a unique surfactant Mike had developed from kelp seaweeds. Clients included major engineering and automotive companies across Europe, including Hitachi, Fiat, Renault and Caterpillar. Today, as the demand for products that protect the environment are increasing, Mike has developed a second generation of natural derived and environmentally sound products for industrial clean and decontamination using new technology.
